BHF CoRE Bioinformatics Team

The BHF CoRE Bioinfomatics Team's aim is to have an impact on the publication and funding success of Centre for Cardiovascular Science. We are supported by the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence (Centre of Research Excellence Award RE/08/001) and funding from the teams we work with.

The main goal for the team is to provide high quality bioinformatics input and support for any team or project within the CVS (we also work with the CIR, and CRH). This incudes gene expression analysis; protein and gene sequence and structure analysis; data mining and visualisation; systems biology; database design and implementation; and software development. Through this support, the team aims to have a positive impact on the quality and quantity of the Centre's funding and publication.
